One of the highlights of any Italian holiday! Enjoy a relaxing gondola ride with music along the famous Grand Canal, and experience a piece of Venetian history. Glide along the centuries old canals, past lavish palaces and under famous arched bridges (the Gondola holds a maximum of six passengers. Please note that this is not a private gondola ride. There will be one musician on board of one of the gondolas in your fleet).

Day 9 Piazzas of Rome – $49 per person

This half day walking tour takes you to explore the grand piazzas of the Eternal City. Stand in awe in front of the majestic Spanish Steps, the longest and widest decorative steps in Europe, and with your local guide stroll through the most characteristic “piazzas and vias ” of Rome. Stop to admire the breathtaking grandeur of the Trevi Fountain and take the opportunity to toss in one, two, or three coins, each of which is supposed to bring a unique kind of good fortune. DAY 1 – Depart USA

Depart the USA for Italy. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2 – Arrive in Milan, Transfer to Como or Friday departures transfer to Baveno

Arrive in Milan and transfer to your hotel on the beautiful Italian Lakes. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy an orientation meeting with your tour escort, followed by a welcome dinner at a local restaurant

DAY 3 – Lake Como Cruise to Bellagio

Today, cruise the scenic waters of Lake Como to the quiet village of Bellagio. This afternoon, sail back to Como and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure

Day 3 Friday Departure only – Lake Maggiore from Baveno

Today, cruise Lake Maggiore to Isola Bella, visit the palace of Prince Borromeo, and its splendid gardens with the famous white peacocks. Continue to the charming fishermen’s island (Isola dei Pescatori) that gets its name from the occupation of its inhabitants. Walk along the windy medieval streets and marvel at the incredible views of the lake. Sail back to Baveno in the afternoon with time to experience the delights of this lakeside town with its spectacular mountain views.

DAY 4 – Verona Walking Tour, Travel to Venice

View the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and visit the Doge’s Palace, whose facade features a massive late-Gothic gate, known as the Porta della Carta. Take the remainder of the day to explore Venice on your own

DAY 6 – Pisa Sightseeing En Route to Florence

The four monuments of this extraordinary piazza make for a unique architectural blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles.
