Dalmatian Coast Cruise Daily Itinerary

DAY 1 – Depart for Croatia

Depart for Dubrovnik on the Croatian coast.

DAY 2 – Arrive in Dubrovnik

Upon arrival into Dubrovnik meet the cruise manager at an on board welcome reception. This evening enjoy a welcome reception and dinner.

DAY 3 – Sail to Mljet en Route to Korcula

Start the day with panoramic sailing around the Old city Dubrovnik. Afterwards, sail to Mljet, Croatia’s greenest island with lush Mediterranean vegetation, a gentle sandy shoreline and a wealth of underwater sea life. Tour the island and Mljet National Park, covering the island’s entire western wooded area. The two deep bays on the island are connected by a narrow channel with a 12th century Benedictine Monastery situated in the larger of the bays. While in town, try the island’s well-known white and red wines, olives and freshly made goat’s cheese. Continue cruising to Korcula. Dinner is on board the ship this evening

DAY 4 – Korcula, Sail to Pucisca

This morning, join a guided walking tour of Korcula. Reported birthplace of Marco Polo and known for its rich vineyards and olive groves. Explore the towns’ massive fortifications, cobbled streets and Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark, with its impressive decorated façade. Lunch is on board and stop for a swim in one of the pristine bays before arriving into breathtaking Pucisca, hidden away in a deep cove on the northern part of Brac. Time on your own to wander in town exploring Renaissance palaces, and Baroque buildings built with the glistening white stone of Brac and enjoy dinner of typical Dalmatian food, especially lamb and fresh fish, at one of the popular seaside restaurants

DAY 5 – Sail to Omis en Route to Split

The ship docks this morning in Omis, a central Dalmatian town at the mouth of the Cetina River, surrounded by massive gorges. Notorious for its spotted history centuries ago of infamous pirate activity, it is now the center of the Omis Riviera, one of the most beautiful parts of Croatia’s Adriatic Coast. After a short walking tour, board a small boat and sail into Cetina River Canyon, a protected nature area where you will then continue to Radman Mills for a local specialty snack. Return to the ship for lunch as you set sail for Split, the spirited capital of Dalmatia. Upon arrival, a walking tour along the cobbled streets of the Old Town takes you to the historic inner city built around the astonishing 4th century Palace of Diocletian. This spectacular palace is the best preserved and largest antique palace in the world, revealing precious examples of Roman architecture. See the remains of the Roman Peristyle, the unusual Cathedral of St. Domnius and the Temple of Jupiter, with its headless black sphinx guarding the entrance. In the evening you are on your own. Savor the delectable cuisine in Split at a traditional fish restaurant, or, join the locals at a café along Riva, the bustling seafront promenade

DAY 6 – Sail to Bol en Route to Hvar*, Hvar sightseeing tour

Arrive in magnificent Bol; time for a fabulous swim at Golden Horn, undoubtedly one of Croatia’s favorite beaches. Lunch is on board while sailing to the enchanting island of Hvar, an international playground for the rich and famous with its lush vineyards and quaint fishing harbor. Sightseeing in Hvar includes a visit to the Renaissance Theatre and Franciscan Monastery. Spend the evening exploring the town on your own. Opt to dine at one of the family owned restaurants with home-cooked food along the streets of Hvar Town before returning to the ship

*Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor, the port of call may be substituted with Stari Grad/Jelsa. In this case, transfer by bus will be arranged to and from Hvar.

DAY 7 – Sail to Trstenik

Relax on board and enjoy the stunning scenery as the ship sails to lovely Trstenik, a small fishing village on the Peljesac peninsula, where you will swim in the afternoon and spend the night. Tonight, enjoy captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board

DAY 8 – Disembark Dubrovnik

Spend the morning relaxing and enjoying the splendid unfolding vistas as the ship cruises back to Dubrovnik. After lunch on board, arrive in Dubrovnik, known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Disembark and join the walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic” and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy. Tonight you are on your own. Treat yourself to a lovely dinner at one of the city’s wide choice of world-class restaurants.

DAY 9 – Disembark in Dubrovnik

Bid farewell to the Captain, crew and your newfound friends as you disembark the cruise in Dubrovnik and transfer to the airport or a local hotel.
