Cinque Terre Small Group Tour: Train and Motor Coach
8AM-7:30PM – $200 per person
Enjoy a full day tour visiting the beautiful Cinque Terre, a rugged portion of coast punctuated by picturesque small fishing villages. We will start our day visiting the enchanting hamlet Corniglia (only small vehicles can get here), that clings to an impressive hundred meters high cliff. On the way up to Corniglia we will stop at panoramic viewpoints. A walk through this delightful hamlet will be followed by an aperitif, wine accompanied by bruschettas at a local wine bar (included). We then continue our day visiting picturesque Vernazza. With its large open harbour, castle and church, it conjures up all the magic of the Cinque Terre. Here you will enjoy free time to walk around and to have an optional lunch (not included). After 2 hours in Vernazza, we’ll take the shared boat ride to reach Riomaggiore (in condition of bad weather and from 3rd week of October until March, boats do not operate and will be substituted by the coastal train). In Riomaggiore, with its tower houses built on a cliff, you will meet again your driver-tour escort. And after a walk through the village in his company you will reach Manarola by coastal train. After having visited the village of Manarola, we will make our way back to Florence, where we will arrive at about 19:30.
Cinque Terre and Portovenere Tour: Train, Boat, Motor Coach

You will spend an unforgettable day discovering the most impressive Ligurian landscapes. In this area, which has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, earth and sea blend and create a unique landscape. The area consists of miles of rocky coasts with caves, beaches, hiking paths and breathtaking views. First you will reach Porto Venere, an elegant and popular touristic destination where nature and human architecture are perfectly balanced. Then the tour will take you through the Cinque Terre National Park by train and/or ferry boat. You will first visit Manarola, a tiny urban jewel characterized by Genoese style case-torri. Then you will move to Vernazza, overlooked by the remains of a Medieval castle with a cylindrical tower and finally you will reach Monterosso, known as the pearl of Cinque Terre. This ancient fishing village with lovely beaches and lush vegetation covering the rocks will certainly enchant you. After free time for lunch (option to include lunch in a typical seaside restaurant available), you will have the chance to taste the local Limoncino ligure in a quaint wine shop. In the afternoon you will have free time for a swim or a walk around the village.
Cinque Terre Excursion: The Scent of the Sea

Our trip to the CINQUE TERRE is an unforgettable whole day devoted to the discovery of one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the world. Five (Cinque) villages, hanging between sea and land, a place where you can immerse yourselves in paradise, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Our visit begins at daybreak, with the arrival at La Spezia, where we will take a train to RIOMAGGIORE. The village, dating back to the early thirteenth century, is famous for its historic character and local wine. You can admire the houses leaning one against the other and stroll along the narrow cobble alleyways and sheltered paths. We then reach MANAROLA a romantic town. The tiny harbor has a boat ramp and picturesque buildings clinging to the ravine. Our journey continues to MONTEROSSO, an ancient fishing village considered The Pearl of the Cinque Terre, where you will be awed by its enchanting beaches and the lush vegetation encircling the little town. Here you will have free time to plunge into the crystal sea and sunbathe, before taking the boat to VERNAZZA, a seaside town surrounding a small natural port.
Cinque Terre Hiking
7A-7P – $100pp
The Tour will depart Florence and will arrive high above the Cinque Terre village of Manarola, where you will enter the National Park to hike to Corniglia. At the cliff top village of Corniglia, after the panoramic walk you have free time to relax and take-in the perfect view of the sea and surrounding hillside. After Corniglia, we continue our tour towards the village of Vernazza, one of the prettiest and most characteristic of the towns. Here we have free time to sit in one of the cheerful bars and cafes, or even have a cooling swim in the sea. Continue the visit with a short train ride to Monterosso, the village renowned for its beautiful beach and artisan shops. Enjoy free time to taste the local wine, a refreshing swim in the sea or souvenir shopping. A boat ride (weather permitting) along the coast will take you to Riomaggiore, where the tour ends. You will return to Florence by coach around 8:30 pm. These ancient trails are rough but manageable. Remember that the ground can be slippery, uneven and in places steep and narrow. The charm of the area is that it is natural and unspoiled, don’t expect hand rails or safety rails for steep steps or paths close to the edge. The Cinque Terre Trek is recommended for active people who enjoy hiking and trail walking.
