Day 1: Depart overnight flight for Rome

Day 2: Arrive Rome (2 NIGHTS)

Today you’ll arrive in Rome the Eternal City. Check-in to your hotel. This afternoon you have time to stroll around. This evening you’ll meet your tour director and other travelers at a welcome celebration authentic Roman dinner. After you’ll enjoy an evening tour of Rome to see Rome’s sightseeing highlights illuminated.

Day 3: Rome Sightseeing and Free Time

This morning you’ll begin the day with a tour of The Vatican Museum. You’ll skip by the lines and be guided through the priceless art collection by a local expert tout guide. The  VIP Vatican Tour includes access to the otherwise closed to the public step-less spiral staircase designed by famous architect Donato Bramante. The Vatican Museum tour includes visiting the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, where you’ll see Michelangelo’s famous frescoed ceiling and his famous Pietà sculpture. After lunch you’ll see the Ancient Roman Forum, which was the center of ancient Rome. There you’ll visit the Colosseum, the largest in the Roman Empire. After a full day of touring you have the late afternoon and evening to enjoy strolling around Rome. Or join the option tour of Rome’s piazzas and fountains.

Rome Optional Tour

Backstreets, Piazzas and Fountains of Rome – $40 per person

With a local Roman expert tour guide you’ll explore the winding streets of Rome’s historic center. You’ll visit the beautiful piazzas including the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona.

Day 4: Travel from Rome to Venice (2 NIGHTS)

Travel through scenic Umbria and see the impressive hilltop towns of Orte and Orvieto before entering into Tuscany. Make your way past Chianti vineyards and terraced olive groves before crossing over the forested Apennine hills. Arrive later in Venice – one of the most unique and serene cities in the world. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Day 5: Venice Cruise and Glassblowing Demonstration

A visit to the magical city of Venice would not be complete without an orientation cruise by private motor launch along the canals to St. Mark’s Square, with views of the Doge’s Palace and the renowned Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a Cultural Insight during a demonstration of the ancient art of glassblowing at a workshop on Giudecca island. Then there’s time on your own to join an Optional Experience on offer or explore the labyrinth of streets and canals.

Discover The Magic Of Venice – $80 per person

Join us for a scenic cruise by private water taxi along Venice’s Grand Canal. You’ll admire the magnificent palazzos, as well as catching a glimpse of the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square. Later on, you’ll glide gracefully on a gondola along Venice’s dreamy, narrow waterways.

Day 6: Travel from Venice to Florence with Pisa Excursion (2 NIGHTS)

This morning cross the Veneto plains then travel over the steep Apennine Mountains to the city of Pisa. See the incredible Leaning Tower, the amazing carved marble Cathedral and the Baptistery in the Square of Miracles. Later, travel through the province of Tuscany to Renaissance Florence for your two night stay.

Day 7: Florence Walking Tour

Day 8: Travel Florence to Rome with Siena Excursion (1 Night)

Drive through the Chianti vineyards to the medieval city of Siena. Here an orientation includes the Piazza del Campo, scene of the famous Palio Horse Races.
