DAY 1 – Depart United States for overnight flight to Italy

Depart the USA for your Italy Tour Package Tuscany Amalfi Coast Rome. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2  – Arrive in Florence, Transfer to Montecatini

Arrive in Florence and transfer to your hotel in Montecatini, the famous spa town in Tuscany. Balance of the day at leisure. This evening, enjoy an orientation meeting with your tour escort, followed by a welcome dinner to celebrate the start of your trip through Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, and finally Rome.

DAY 3 – Excursion to Florence

Today, travel to Florence, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Upon arrival, walk to the impressive Duomo celebrated for its magnificent dome designed by Brunelleschi, and view the Baptistery’s renowned “Gates of Paradise” by Ghiberti. From here, continue to the open-air museum of Signoria Square, ending at the splendid Ponte Vecchio, also known as the “Old Bridge”. Return to Montecatini for an evening at leisure.

DAY 4 – Full Day in Montecatini

Full day at leisure or participate in the optional tour to the lovely medieval city of Siena that sits over three hills. The heart of the city is Il Campo, the huge central plaza where the Roman forum used to be, site of the famous Horse Race of Palio. After a walking tour of the highlights of the city, enjoy time at leisure before returning to Montecatini. This evening, indulge in the Tuscan atmosphere, its food, and its wines!

DAY 5 – Full Day in Montecatini & Evening Dinner

Full day at leisure to explore Montecatini and its surroundings on your own or take an optional tour to the spectacular Cinque Terre*, one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria region. Here five small villages, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea and the surrounding hillsides, are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the scenic coastline while exploring the villages and the beautiful vistas. This active walking tour covers a fair amount of ground facing uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes. Trains and/or boats will be the means of transportation between the towns. DAY 7 – Tour of Amalfi Coast

Today enjoy a drive of the world-famous Amalfi route and admire panoramic views of the enchanting towns along the Mediterranean coast. Pass the distinctive white Moorish homes of Positano on this legendary road to reach the coastal town of Amalfi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Amalfi you’ll have time to stroll around and enjoy the ambiance, a gelato, espresso…. After return to Naples.

DAY 8 – Full Day in Naples

A day at leisure in picturesque Naples, strikingly beautiful with its seaside setting. Don’t miss the optional full day tour to the enchanting and picturesque Isle of Capri by boat – it will be a highlight! Here, you’ll walk through the narrow lanes of Anacapri, with its chic boutiques and shops offering tastings of the island’s famous Limoncello. Then, to La Piazzetta (Piazza Umberto I) where everyone gathers to socialize and to the Gardens of Augustus, towards the top of the island, a natural paradise, from where you can see splendid views of the sea and the famous Faraglioni rock formations, one of the island’s natural wonders. After a lovely day in Capri, return to Naples and enjoy dinner at your hotel. If you decide to take the day at leisure in The Naples Archaeology Museum and pizza margherita are just two of Naples attractions.

DAY 9 – Travel to Rome, Tour Pompeii

The morning on the way to Rome stop in Pompeii. Visit the ruins of this best preserved Roman city, including the Temples of Apollo and Jupiter, and the Forum. Then drive north, passing by the famous Monte Cassino Abbey, founded by St. Benedict of Norcia in 529. Destroyed on four separate occasions, it was last rebuilt after being the site of fierce fighting during the Second World War. Evening at leisure. DAY 10 – Tour Ancient Rome

Today begins with historic tour of “ancient Rome”. The tour will take you to the Roman Forum, the political center during the Roman Republic, where you will view the triumphal Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Titus and the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater built in the Roman Empire.

Today begins with the visit to the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo’s breathtaking Sistine Chapel. Stroll through St. Peter’s Square, passing Bernini’s famous colonnade, to visit St. Peter’s Basilica, where you will view Michelangelo’s Pieta. This highly-finished marble sculpture depicts the body of Jesus in the arms of Mary after the Crucifixion and is considered to be among the most compelling of all works of art in the Western world.
